Owner Link is for anyone who owns or leases a Honda vehicle and/or has a current lease or financing contract from financial services. If you do not currently own or lease any vehicles, you may also set up an Owner Link web site - simply indicate "Intend to Purchase" or ""Not Applicable" when asked for the date of purchase. What should I do if I forget my Username or Password? Below the Username and Password entry boxes on the login page, click the link marked "Forgot your password?" Enter your email address in the field provided and click "Submit". Your Username and Password will be emailed to you. How do I update or change my personal information?
The vehicle may have been added by another user. If your Owner Link account includes multiple family members, any family member may add a new vehicle to the profile. However, for security reasons, a vehicle may only be deleted by the user who originally added it to the profile. How do I add a financial services account to my Owner Link profile?
Your 8-digit financial services account number is located in the upper-right, Account Summary box of your monthly statement. What happens when I remove a family member from my profile? When you remove a family member from your profile, that person can no longer view information about your vehicles. However, this family member can still log in to Owner Link to view information about vehicles he or she added to the profile. A removed family member who did not add any vehicles to your profile will be prompted to add a vehicle the next time he or she logs in. When you register for Owner Link or add a new vehicle to an existing Owner Link account, you have the option of entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or Hull Identification Number (HIN). Benefits of entering your VIN include:
Entering your VIN or HIN will help you get the most out of Owner Link. But don't worry if you don't have your VIN handy when you register. You can always enter it later by visiting the My Profile area. What is a Radio Code and where can I find it? The Radio Code is an access code that allows Anti-theft radios to operate. If your battery is ever disconnected, the radio will be automatically deactivated. It can only be reactivated by entering the Radio Code. If your Honda came equipped with an Anti-theft radio, you should have an Anti-theft Radio Access Card in your glove compartment. This card contains the access code and the serial number of the radio. If you do not have a card, click on the link to Retrieve your Honda Radio code online. What is a Navigation Code and where can I find it? The Anti-theft Navigation Code is an access code that allows the Navigation System to operate. If your battery is ever disconnected, the navigation system will be automatically deactivated. It can only be reactivated by entering the Navigation Code. If your Honda came equipped with a Navigation System, you should have a Navigation Code access card in your glove compartment. This card contains the access code and the serial number of the navigation unit. If you do not have a card, click on link to Retrieve your Honda Navigation Code online. What happens to my personal information? The information you supply during registration is used to customize services such as the articles on your Owner Link site. Your information is private - read our Privacy Policy for more about data security and privacy. Is my personal information secure? Read our Privacy Policy for more about data security and privacy. I requested a new password but I never received it in my email. What should I do? Your new password was sent to the email address you provided when you registered. If you have changed your address since you first registered, the password may have been sent to an outdated address. If your address has not changed, it may be listed incorrectly in our records. Please contact Customer Service to confirm your email address and reset your password. If I request to have my username/password sent to me, when can I expect to receive the information in my email? You should receive your login information within 24 hours, often sooner. When I try to log in, the system doesn't recognize me. Why not? You may have mistyped your username, email address or password. If you try again and still don't have any luck, click the "Forgot your username or password?" link to reset you password. If you are using your email address to log in, please make sure that you are using your “website email address” that you used to setup your account and not your “financial services email address” that is used for receiving statements and correspondence. This information is utilized by other American Honda Motor Co., Inc. web properties and by disabling your Owner Link account would disable access to any other accounts you may have established with American Honda. No, unfortunately your Owner Link username is recognized by other American Honda Motor Co., web properties and any changes to this username would affect access to any other accounts you have established with American Honda. We therefore are unable to change your username. Is it safe to use Owner Link to access my financial services account or make a payment? We use a secure socket layer (SSL) connection and state-of-the-art encryption software to ensure the safety of your financial data and personal information. You'll need your financial services account number or lease number, which you can find on your monthly statement. You'll also need your Social Security number or tax ID. That's it! Try clicking the "Forgot your username or password?" link to have your username and "new" password emailed to you. If you are still having difficulty, contact Customer Service for assistance. NOTE: Your dealership may have registered you for Owner Link but does not have the ability to register your HFS account. Why does the site only use primary buyer information, not co-buyer? For your security, we restrict account access to one individual per account: the primary owner of record. How do I disable my financial services online account? Go to the Account Overview page for your account, which can be found by clicking the "My Finance" tab. Once here, please follow these steps: Click on the account you wish to disable Click the link marked "Customer Information". Click the link marked "Disable". You will be asked if you are sure you wish to remove this account. Click "Continue." Besides me, who can access my information on Owner Link? Only you are authorized to access your account information. Please keep your password secure to prevent unauthorized access. For your privacy, we do not recommend using the "Remember My Username" feature on the login page if you are accessing Owner Link from a public or shared computer (e.g., in a school, library or internet cafe). Is there a charge for using EasyPaySM? No, this convenient service is offered free of charge to financial services customers. Once I sign up for EasyPaySM, how soon will my payment be deducted? Your payment will be automatically deducted each month on your regular due date. Please note that it can take several weeks to complete the authorization process, so be sure to continue making your regular payment until "Do Not Remit" appears on your monthly statement. What happens if my payment deduction date falls on a non-business day? It will occur on the next business day. Can I change my bank information once I've set up EasyPaySM? Yes. Visit the Payment Options section located in your My Finance tab of Owner Link and select EasyPaySM from the left-hand menu. Then click the link marked "Update your bank account information." Please note: changes must be received at least 5 business days prior to the scheduled due date in order to be effective for the next scheduled payment. How can I discontinue EasyPaySM? Visit the Payment Options section located in your My Finance tab of Owner Link and select EasyPaySM from the left-hand menu. Then click the button marked "Discontinue" and then click the button marked "Submit". Please note that if you discontinue EasyPaySM you will still be required to remit your payment on the due date on your statement. Is there a charge for using Pay Online? No, this convenient service is offered free of charge to financial services customers. When I make a change to my bank account, when will the information be updated? Changes or updates to your Pay Online bank account information will be updated immediately in the system. When I make a payment, how soon will it be deducted from my bank account? All transactions submitted after 5:00 PM Pacific Time or on a non-Business Day will not be posted until the next Business Day. Business Day as used means any day other than a Saturday or Sunday, that is neither a legal holiday nor a day on which commercial banks are authorized or required by law, regulation or executive order to close in The City of New York. Can I make a payment with a credit card? No, you cannot use a credit card to make your monthly payments. If I make a payment using Pay Online, when will it be reflected in my transaction history? Payments will generally appear in your online transaction history on the next business day unless your payment is submitted between Friday 5:01 PM PST and Monday 5:00 PM PST it will appear in two business days. Can I change my bank information once I've set up Pay Online? Yes. Visit the Payment Options located in your My Finance tab of Owner Link and select Pay Online from the left-hand menu. Then click the link marked "Update your bank account information." How many times do I have to press submit to change the amount of my payment? Please press Submit only once to avoid making multiple payments. How many payments per calendar day can I make on Pay Online? One between the hours of 12 AM and 11:59 PM PST on a particular day. Can I cancel a Pay Online payment? Once a Pay Online payment has been submitted it may not be cancelled. Can I choose a different payment amount for Pay Online? You may only pay a non-zero amount equal to or greater than $1.00 and/or less than your payoff amount. How often are updates posted to the online transaction history? Our system is updated at the end of each business day and will appear on your history the following business day. Why isn't the information updated instantly in your system? The technology we use to transmit a day's worth of account updates as a single "batch" is more reliable and more secure than transmitting each update individually. Why doesn't my online transaction history show my last payment? It often takes several days to receive and process a payment. Once the payment is reflected in our system, it will appear in your transaction history on the next business day. This will not be the case if you are viewing your online current statement. How do I add another financial services account to Owner Link? Click the My Finance tab to go to the My Finance home page. Then, click the link marked ADD A NEW FINANCE ACCOUNT and follow the instructions on the next page. |
